On Friday 15 and Saturday 16 September, the yearly symposium of the NGE (Dutch Association for Aesthetics) will take place in the Amsterdam University Library (Belle van Zuylenzaal), under the title ‘Making, receiving, differing. Aesthetics and Politics.’ This is the English translation of the title of the lecture to be presented (in Dutch) by dr. Frans van Peperstraten, on the occasion of his retirement. On Friday, all presentations will be in Dutch, on Saturday in English.
On Friday evening, participants may attend the opening of the exhibition Locus: Apichatpong Weerasethakul – Cao Guimarâes in Filmmuseum EYE [http://www.eyefilm.nl/tentoonstelling/locus-apichatpong-weerasethakul-–-cao-guimarães].

– Non-members: € 50 (including NGE membership through 2018)
