Witte de With, Morality Act III For 24 hours per day, for 4 days, Witte de With is transformed into a giant screening platform. 96 films, from over 40 artists are presented in a kaleidoscopic exploration of morality. Among the works included are two playfully rebellious works by Japanese collective Chim?Pom, an understated attack on the Disney empire by Finnish artist Pilvi Takala, a moral re-examination of Dutch military history by Wendelien van Oldenborgh, and a brutal play of hand puppets from Ciprian Muresan, to mention just a few. Op 1 en 2 april organiseert het NGE, in samenwerking met de Universiteit Gent, een symposium over Kants Derde Kritiek die pas in het Nederlands werd vertaald. Meer informatie volgt binnenkort.

Mediterranean Congress of Aesthetics: “Art, Emotion and Value”; Cartagena (Spain); 4th-8th July 2011. Papers may address any topic that involves the connection between art, emotion and value. 350 words abstracts must be sent to aesmed@um.es before November 30th, 2010.
